We seek a IT Professional III/Systems Analyst at our Clear Lake (Houston 77058) office to support the NASA Mission Integration Contract (MIC) and other significant projects. Technical Skills: Proficient software development methodologies in ColdFusion programming. Knowledge of Perl scripting, CFML, XML, HTML, PHP, ASP, and JavaScript. Must have worked with Relational Database Systems such as Oracle 10g, MS SQL*Plus. Good Understanding of Object Oriented Design. Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities in database design and development. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft products. Requirements analysis and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Any of the following will be a plus: (a)Sample code demonstrating your skill in ColdFusion; (b)A working application you can demonstrate and explain in technical detail; (c)Experience with frameworks (Fusebox, Model-glue, Mach-II, Ruby Etc.); (d)Object Oriented Programming experience; (e)Other: Linux experience, Server configuration, Hardware, Networking, DBA, familiarity with different database platforms. Other Attributes and Knowledge: Comfortable working with a team of IT individuals and individually on assigned tasks. Capable of developing and maintaining successful customer relationships. Must have solid communication skills and be able to communicate to both clients and team members regarding requirements, components, timelines and all aspects of development.
